New beginnings…

So, today is the 1st day of the new year.  Also marks a new beginning.

2010 I didn’t do too well.  December 18th, 2009 I was 299 and December 31, 2010 I was 299.6.

But at least I didn’t gain it all back and pretty much maintained.  Obviously I would have liked to lose, but I suppose I should look at the positive…

2011 will be much different than 2010.  I refuse to be the weight I am right now at the end of this year.  I will be losing at least 52 pounds for the year(a pound a week.)  So as of yesterday i weighed 299.6, so on December 31, 2011 I will be weighing no more than 247.6 🙂

The gym I joined is STILL not open. grrrrrr.  Was supposed to be December 15th, then January 3rd, now I hear it won’t be til February or March. 🙁 sigh.  I can’t wait for it to open, so I can go swimming and take aquafit and all that jazz. 🙂

I will have lots of people to go with, so hopefully I will have the motivation to go and keep at it. 🙂 I really need to do this this time!

Well i hope everyone had a very happy new year!  One of my goals for the new year, is to keep up with my blog more often than i have been, so more often than every 3 months lol hopefully once a week or every 2 weeks.  Guess depending on if i have any news. 🙂

    I’m starting new again too! I lost about 25 pounds & then gained 15 back this year. I now have just over 100 lbs to lose to get to where I really want to be. I’m determined to do better this year than I did last year. I started Weight Watchers again a few weeks ago & am doing fairly well so far. I hope you are able to succeed in your endeavor this year!!

    Hi Virginia, just with watching what i eat and exercise. 🙂 portion control and cutting back on junk.. no gimmicks or programs or anything. 🙂
