A New Year, a fresh start…

Yes, i know, i haven’t updated my blog in foreverrrrrr. I will try and keep up with it a little better in 2012(although i said that in 2011 too lol)

So i never made my 52lb goal I had set for myself in 2011, I had lost about 5.8lbs… at least i didn’t gain my weight back, right? πŸ™‚

So, my goal for 2012 is again, 52lbs.Β  This year i WILL do it.. I have to.

I haven’t started the year off that great though. πŸ™ I have been sick as a dog for about a week now, am on antibiotics so hopefully i will be feeling better in the next day or so. πŸ™‚Β  I haven’t been to the gym in over a month. πŸ™ So once i am 100%, i will start going more often and when I don’t go, will do things at home as well.Β  I have a recumbent bike along with the wii and a bunch of different games that keeps you active. πŸ™‚

So far, i have lost 1.6lbs in 2012, but that has a part with being sick i imagine since i havent been working out at all. No energy.Β  But, like i said, once i am feeling better, i will slowly start back at it. πŸ™‚

At one point in 2012, I may even get a trainer.Β  They are pretty expensive though 750-800 for 12 sessions. But my gym is pretty cheap overall, so i guess the higher prices makes sense..

Anyhoo, i just wanted to touch base with everyone and let you all know i am still alive and kicking heheΒ  Hope you all had a great holiday and are having an even better new year!

    Like you said, at least you didn’t gain any! I had lost 100 pounds at one point, and have now gained almost all of it back. I know how hard it is to keep it off so good job there!
    This year will be different for the both of us! We are focused, determined and will get this done! I wish you all the luck in the world! You have my support!

    Hey Megan! I started out the year sick and am just now starting to feel a bit better. I made some pretty hefty goals for the new year and 2 of them I have followed all week even though I was sick. I kept a food journal AND I have moved every day (my new mantra for fitness is fitness every day and it can be anything so since I have been sick, I have done abs on the ball, upper body with the band and lower body like squats, leg lifts, etc. all while hacking up a lung and a stuffy nose LOL).

    I can’t stand being this weight anymore so I’m going to work hard at my goals and hopefully lose at least 85 lbs. Exercise is not my issue, it’s FOOD. UGH
