My 12 week weightloss challenge

My weight loss challenge started yesterday, so far so good, havent been 100% but takes awhile to get back into the swing of things…

I start back with my trainer on Tuesday, can’t wait!! Missed her. πŸ™‚ Anyways… so the overall winner of the challenge, will win 10 thousand dollars. πŸ™‚

It is between all The Athletic Clubs in Canada though, so tough competition. Β The person who won the first won, lost 43 pounds and the person who won the 2nd, lost 87 pounds :s plus it is the total % of your body weight that classifies you as the winner, so I would need to lose more as I have more to lose, so gonna be tough to lose 45-90 pounds in 12 weeks lol but as long as i lose, i am a winner. πŸ™‚

There are also prizes in each gym as well, so even if i came in 1st-3rd in my own gym id be happy, although would love to win the 10k, so i can pay towards my cc’s, these training sessions are pricey haha

Anyways i will try to remember to post here more often and keep everyone updated on my progress.

Thanks for reading!

Good luck Megan, you can do this! I didn’t start having any luck until I started counting calories & stopped calling it dieting. I still eat the things I like but have smaller portions.

Good luck with your weight loss challenge.
Going on a low-carb, high fat diet (like the Paleo diet) may help you lose more weight than you would imagine.

It has been said that the Paleo diet is the most biologically appropriate for the human body.
Whether this true or not, personally I have noticed that my running & cycling has improved accompanied by some weight loss since eating according to the Paleo way.

Also, I have to say that I really do feel better since cutting out carbs & sugars…

    Good luck!

Remember to just ease your way back into and just make progress each and everyday. Just stay committed. That’s always the key, consistency.
